“The Most Important Health Discovery for the 21st Century.”

I use this quotation by Marc Sorneson, EdD because this discovery will become our health salvation and destroyer of disease.

I learned the hard way.

You don’t really appreciate your good health unless you lose it —- as I did mine.

I was also shocked to learn that the medical profession had no cure for my debilitating disease, and not being ready to have my life shortened— I began looking for alternatives.

Being persistent, I learned that although drugs could not cure me, nutrition and nutritional supplements could, and cure me it did.

I no longer have congestive heart failure, but that’s another story.

What is of immense value to you, me, and all we know, is what I subsequently learned —- had I been taking a sufficient quantity of ONE, easy to take, inexpensive, NUTRIENT —- I never would have developed heart disease and gone through all that misery, and that is what I want to talk to you about.

It is well known that there are multi-millions of people in this country and many more millions around the world who are on drugs, have no hope for a cure, or have no knowledge of how to keep from developing or catching life threatening diseases.

I now know that that can now change.

With that change, millions of people would be taken off the Medicare rolls.

Think about what that would do for health care systems around the world!

The drug companies are going to hate this. All those healthy people walking around who won’t get the flu, heart disease, cancer, MS, or any of 100 different problems all because they added this one nutrient to their diet.

We all know the best cure of all is prevention and prevention is easy and doable with what I am about to reveal to you.

If you are already suffering from serious or not-so-serious diseases, be comforted by the fact that there are tens of thousands of people who have cured themselves by just making lifestyle and nutritional changes, no drugs, and I believe most everyone can achieve the same success.

Oh, I forgot to tell you, I am now very healthy, very strong, and on the long side of 86. I was 74 when I developed congestive heart failure. So you see, a disease the medical profession has no cure for — can be cured!

Let me tell you —- If you are looking for a magic potion, sorry, I cannot help you, although what I am about to tell you is about as close to a magic potion you will ever get, and there are hundreds of scientific studies behind that statement.

“In all my many years of practice of medicine, I’ve never seen one vitamin, even vitamin C, have such profound effects on human health.” Dr. Soram Khalsa, board-certified internist and medical director for the East-West Medical Research Institute.

It has been established, based on scientific studies, why so many people are so sick with heart disease, cancer, Parkinson’, Alzheimer’s, diabetes, stoke, MS, obesity, etc, etc.

They ALL have a VITAMIN D-3 DEFICIENCY!

“We estimate that vitamin D deficiency is the most common medical condition in the world.” Dr. Michael F. Holick, Vitamin D expert.

Does that mean that the cause for each person contacting or developing a disease was a deficiency of Vitamin D-3 alone? Probably not, but it is evident from scientific studies that for most —- the answer is a resounding YES!

And further, science says very specifically, a sufficiency of Vitamin D-3 would prevent respiratory diseases, breast, lung, colon, and prostate cancers as well as 20 major internal cancers.

In reading the literature you will find that vitamin D and vitamin D-3 are used interchangeably.

Most people associate vitamin D with strong bones and think about it only as a vitamin, when in actuality, vitamin D-3 is a hormone and affects 32 different organs in your body all of which have vitamin C-3 receptors.

“The number one public health advance in medicine in the last 20 years.” Dr. John Whitcomb, Aurora Sinai Medical Center.

In keeping with this medical advance, we are pleased to offer you our exclusive, energy enhanced, liquid Mirimmune Super D-3.

“Because vitamin D is so cheap and so clearly reduces all-cause mortality, I can say this with great certainty: Vitamin D represents the single most cost-effective medical intervention in the United State.” Dr Greg Plotnikoff, Medical Director, Penny George Institute for Health and Healing, Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.

The need for an adequate level of vitamin D-3 in one’s body cannot be over emphasized.

Our government’s recommendation of 400 IU daily for an adult is not even sufficient for a child and falls far short of the 5000, 10,000 and even 20,000 IUs in some cases that science is now recommending as a daily intake for adults.

Vitamin D-3 is synonymous with good health.

Remain deficient and you will get sick.

For many, taking an aspirin is a no brainer, a simple way to protect against cardiovascular disease.

The problem is that aspirin causes many uncomfortable and possibly dangerous side effects.

In addition, a little known phenomenon called aspirin resistance means that, for some people, aspirin provides no protection at all.

There is no single laboratory test for aspirin resistance and the estimates of how many people are aspirin resistant vary widely from as low as 5.5% to as high as 60% according to a recent study in Journal of the American College of Cardiology.

Aspirin belongs to a class of drugs called “nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs” NSAIDs.

They work by inhibiting the enzymes that make prostaglandins, chemicals that promote inflammation, pain and fever, and are necessary for blood clotting.

People often think of aspirin as a completely benign substance.

It is not.

Here are some of its side effects which may surprise you:

Gastrointestinal bleeding. In the US, about 103,000 hospitalizations and 16,500 deaths occur every year from gastrointestinal bleeding related to NSAIDs, including aspirin.

Dyspepsia. This condition, which is characterized by pain or discomfort in the upper abdomen, is reported by 12% of users of aspirin and other NSAIDs.

Gastroduodenal lesions. In a study of arthritic patients taking NSAIDs for pain, 30% developed painful gastroduodenal lesions or sores in the stomach and/or small intestine.

Cataracts. Prolonged aspirin use can increase risk for cataracts (hardening and clouding of the lens of the eye) by 55%, according to a study in Ophthalmology.

NSAIDs can also interfere with the treatment of high blood pressure.

NSAIDs are among the most commonly used drugs for osteoarthritis and other painful conditions.

“Traditional” NSAIDs are a central part of pain management and include Advil, Medipren, Motrin, Nuprin, Aleve, Anaprox, Naprosyn, and COX-2 inhibitors such as Celebrex. All of these agents have potentially serious side effects.

NSAIDs can cause gastrointestinal toxicity and life-threatening gastrointestinal hemorrhage.

More recently, it was discovered that COX-2 inhibitors such as Celebrex increase the risk of heart attacks, and the Food and Drug Administration now considers “traditional” NSAIDs such as ibuprofen also capable of increasing heart attacks.

NSAIDs also can worsen heart failure and can cause kidney disease in susceptible people.

As to high blood pressure, many studies have found that NSAIDs increase blood pressure in people who already have hypertension. In some cases, blood pressure is extremely difficult to control in the presence of NSAIDs.

Do NSAIDs interact with all antihypertensive drugs?

The answer is yes, but there may be some differences.

Angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors (ACE inhibitors), angiotensin II receptor blockers (ARBs) and diuretics appear to be particularly susceptible to the effects of NSAIDs.

Although some evidence suggests that calcium channel blockers (such as verapamil and diltiazem) are not affected as much as ACE inhibitors, ARBs and diuretics, people who use antihypertensives should assume that all blood pressure lowering drugs interact with NSAIDs.

To your good heath & longevity.

Although most people know this, Americans have shown little increase in activity levels in the past decade, according to recent surveys.

Talk to owners of physical fitness centers and they will site a history of people who sign up, expressing great intentions, and then a week, two, or a month later, disappear, and never come back again. End of exercise program.

Unfortunately, a life of good intensions just does not cut it.

The lack of exercise is directly related to health issues such as obesity, which has grown to epidemic levels along with its associated health risks, and a decline in cognitive abilities, bone strength, increase in heart disease, Alzheimer’s, diabetes and other degenerative diseases.

The protest but “I eat healthy and take supplements” doesn’t cut it either.

There is no substitute for exercise, and especially so past 50.

As you age, if you remain sedentary, you will begin to lose both balance and flexibility.

Broken hips and arms as a result of falls happen to so many due to a loss of balance.

Loss of ability to bend or twist is a result of loss of flexibility all of which are directly related to the lack of exercise.

Muscles weaken and atrophy due to lack of use, even your heart muscle.

Tendons and ligaments shrink and lose their flexibility, due to lack of use.

Even your brain loses functionality if it is not exercised.

To maintain and improve your brain function, you need to constantly challenge your brain with exercises that expand your number of neurons and the communication between them.

Reading books, doing puzzles, mathematics, pondering problems, all help to exercise your brain improving your memory and mental sharpness.

And I cannot place enough emphasis on exercise when it comes to diabetic’s ability to control their diabetes, and for everyone to help control their blood pressure and aid in maintaining a healthy vascular system.

There is hardly a function in your body that is not improved by a routine of regular exercise.

When it comes to exercise, more is better. If you only did five minutes of exercise a day, that is better than none and doing an hour of multiple exercises three times a week, will absolutely change your life.

There are so called experts that will tell you that walking 20 minutes a day or three times a week is all the exercise you need.

Don’t believe it.

If you walk briskly, which is the way you should be walking, you will get your blood moving, exercise you legs, and get minimal exercise of your arms.

But your body is more than just legs and swinging arms, you need arm strength, back strength, balance and flexibility to enable you to move spryly, bend, twist, lift and carry.

Exercise 45 minutes to one hour at least three times a week is more like it.

Everyone can do this to one degree or another.

Walking is great but you also need to do stretching and exercises that include lifting weights, and there are special exercises that maintain or improve your balance and flexibility.

Talk to a trainer at a gym. Check out books that are available at you library or book store. Google exercise programs.

Just do it! A regular exercise program can also get people off their meds.

Eat healthy – take good supplements – exercise, that’s the formula for a high quality long healthy life.

To your good heath & longevity.

Alzheimer’s is a very scary disease.

There is no cure and the signs that you are on the road to developing the disease are often not very clear.

Until recently, people with signs of dementia were diagnosed as having either Alzheimer’s or vascular dementia.

Experts used the term “vascular” in relation to dementia when they found signs of a stroke, mini-strokes, or clogged arteries. All three of these factors can kill the brain’s nerve cells (neurons) by cutting off their oxygen supply.

Autopsy studies show that many people have both types of dementia.

“When you look at pathology in the brain, it’s the rare person who doesn’t have both Alzheimer’s and vascular disease, “says professor of epidemiology, Mary Haan, at the University of Michigan’s School of Public Health.

Those studies led researchers to ask whether people who were diagnosed with either Alzheimer’s or vascular dementia had other things—-like high blood pressure, diabetes, or clogged arteries—-in common.

“As we started to look at risk factors for vascular dementia and Alzheimer’s disease, lo and behold, we found that they overlap,” says David Knopman, professor of neurology at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine in Rochester, Minnesota.

“We realized that vascular risk factors contribute to Alzheimer’s disease pathology,” says Mary Haan.

Researchers say it looks as though Alzheimer’s may somehow be triggered or sped up by high insulin levels, high blood pressure, inflammation, and clogged arteries—some of the same risk factors that cause heart attacks, strokes, and diabetes. (Lancet 363: 1139, 2004).

“Diabetes is a strong risk factor for dementia,” says David Knopman.

Five years ago, the Rotterdam Study in the Netherlands found that people with diabetes had nearly double the risk of dementia. (Neurology 62: 66. 2004.)

Two years prior to those studies, this study was reported: HOMOCYSTEINE IS A STRONG RISK FACTOR FOR ALZHEIMER’S DISEASE New England Journal of Medicine. 2002 Feb 14; 346:476-483 .

SUMMARY: Subjects from the “Framingham Study“, were examined over an eight-year period to determine whether the amount of homocysteine in the blood is a cause of dementia or Alzheimer’s Disease, or is the homocysteine the result of vitamin deficiencies that occur in people with dementia-related illnesses.

TEST: A total of 1092 adults, who did not have dementia, were measured to find out whether the amount of homocysteine in a person’s blood could predict who would develop dementia or Alzheimer’s disease. Eight years later 111 of those tested were diagnosed with dementia including 83 with Alzheimer’s disease. Alzheimer’s Disease nearly doubled in subjects with a high level of homocysteine.

CONCLUSION: The study concluded that an increased homocysteine level is a strong, independent risk factor for the development of dementia and Alzheimer’s disease.

What other risk is high homocysteine level known for?

Arterial wall damage and the formation of arterial clogging plaque that block blood flow and reduce the amount of oxygen that reaches the heart and brain, which we now know can put you at severe risk of getting Alzheimer’s as well as a heart attack or stroke.

Inflammation is another causative which also damages arterial walls causing the formation of arterial clogging plaque that can lead to dementia, a heart attack or stroke.

Researchers and the medical profession tell us they have no cure for Alzheimer’s or vascular dementia.

Drugs have been developed to slow the progress of dementia, but the best are effective, according to research findings, for no longer than 18 months when they no longer exhibit any beneficial affect for the patient.

As with all major diseases, researchers concentrate on drug cures.

That’s where the money is.

Researchers and the medical profession have totally ignored the results from the above research studies.

The results demonstrate if you keep your arteries clear of arterial clogging plaque, keep your homocysetine and C-reactive protein (inflammation) at normal levels, plus increase the release of your own natural growth hormone from your pituitary, (growth hormone helps reverse cognitive decline which, regrettably, the researchers have not addressed), your chances of getting Alzheimer’s and vascular dementia, as well as losing you cognitive capabilities, are slim to non-existent.

There are no miracles here.

Take care of your vascular system and you take care of your brain.

It’s all done with natural nutritional supplements, healthy eating, and some exercise. No mirrors, no voodoo, no drugs!

Contrary to what the researchers and the medical profession believe, there is a cure for Alzheimer’s or vascular dementia. It’s called Prevention!

Dementia sneaks up on you, and then it’s too late, so practice prevention and prevent such a horrible fate.

To your good heath & longevity.

It is a disease we develop, mostly as a result of poor lifestyle habits regarding food, drink, and lack of exercise.

Of the millions of people who have HBP, about a third have no idea they have the problem, as they either do not have symptoms or do not recognize the symptoms they have. Only a blood pressure test will confirm whether or not they have HBP.

If you do have HBP, then the major causes such as; clogged arteries, congestive heart failure, diabetes, kidney disease, over indulgence in alcohol (regularly more than one or two drinks a day), and certain food allergies need to be explored.

If food allergies are the cause, then the major culprits are…usually the nightshade vegetables. Nightshades are potatoes, tomatoes, eggplant and peppers including paprika, cayenne pepper, tobasco sauce, papinos, and pimentos.

The problem with the nightshade plants is that they contain solanine. In large amounts, solanine is toxic. It can affect heart rate and blood pressure. It can also cause drowsiness and sweating. In smaller amounts solanine can cause headache, nausea, and a gastrointestinal upset that can last several days.

Green tomatoes and the green “eyes” and green skin of potatoes contain the most solanine. In potatoes, solanine is created when a harvested crop is exposed to light. Light stimulates the production of chlorophyll. Solanine is a byproduct of this process. Solanine can be avoided in potatoes by simply paring away the “eyes” and green skin if any.

High blood pressure is not to be scoffed at. It is a serious condition.

Most traditional doctors will tell you that HBP is not curable. Your blood pressure will come down when you take the medication they prescribe and will go right back up again when you stop taking these drugs — unless you change your lifestyle, which most doctors will not tell you about.

It is just not in their training to take a nutritional route to cure you of HBP.

According to statistics, high blood pressure, also called hypertension, is the most common cardiovascular disease in the world today. It affects more than 20% of the adult population worldwide. That is a huge number.

When left uncontrolled and untreated, HBP could lead to several major health problems including stroke, heart attack, and kidney failure.

High blood pressure is the number one cause of stroke.

More than 80% of people with HBP are likely to have a stroke.

More than 70% of people with HBP are likely to have a heart attack.

Nearly 75% of people with HBP are likely to have congestive heart failure.

At a time when we had fewer heart attacks and strokes and less blood pressure medication then we do today, the accepted threshold blood pressure measurement was 140/80.

Now that we have more heart attacks and strokes, and the drug companies have more BP drugs to sell that make them billions of dollars, the medical profession obligingly lowered the threshold to 120 so they can get more people on to BP medication and everybody makes more money except you and me.

As scary as this may sound, for the vast majority, to make the problem go away, all you need to do is start eating a healthy diet.

No soda or power drinks. Moderate alcohol intake. No fast foods or processed foods. Minimize your sugar intake. Drink lots of pure water. Filter your tap water if you wish but do not drink bottled water. Eat as much organic as you can.

Eat at least 50% raw food, lightly steamed vegetables, whole grains, fish, some chicken, and some lean beef. Lots of raw mixed greens and fruits and take good nutritional supplements. Start a regular exercise program.

Follow this advice and you are guaranteed to have a healthy body with your weight under control.

To your good heath & longevity.
