The question: What is it you need more of yet it has no nutritional value?
The answer: Water. You can’t live without it.
The reason: The reason is that water is the solvent the body needs to perform tens of thousands of molecular reaction in your body every single day.
It needs that water to convert the food we eat into the nutrients the cells need to perform their functions so that our cells can keep us strong and healthy.
In addition, the water is the solvent our bodies use to rid itself of toxins.
Chemicals, air pollution, automobile exhaust, cigarettes, etc…these pollutants come from outside the body.
But the majority of the toxins come from inside the body.
They are the natural waste products of our normal metabolic functioning.
In the absence of enough water, toxins build up and eventually can cause disease.
So remember to keep yourself hydrated.
Drink lots of water during the course of every single day.
In light of this reality, it is amazing how few people consume an adequate amount of water.
Chronic dehydration is common and often unrecognized until there is a problem.
Here’s a troubling fact: You cannot count on thirst to let you know that you may be dehydrated.
Although thirst is an excellent indicator of acute dehydration, in chronic states the body accommodates itself (makes up for the lack of H2O) by retaining water, and the thirst does not make itself known.
Unfortunately, when the body retains water, it also retains toxins that the water was “supposed to” eliminate.
This increases the toxins in the connective tissue which sets the stage for illness and premature aging.
Another factor to consider is the of the quality of our drinking water.
Water is easily contaminated.
Chlorine, fluoride, pesticides, residuals, heavy metals, and hard minerals can contaminate the water we drink.
When this occurs, the solvent/cleansing capability of the water can be significantly reduced.
For this reason, it is advisable to drink only purified water.
Buying water that is labeled “spring water”, mineral water or drinking water is not really good enough!
The water you drink should be purified.
One can use a home reverse osmosis system or buy reverse osmosis water from a water store or from grocery stores.
Many people are concerned that reverse osmosis systems take out all the “good minerals”.
If that’s a concern, you can easily re-mineralize with Good Health Supplements’ H2O Alive.
That is what we use. 2 drops to an 8 ounce glass of water.
It is highly recommended that you drink a quart and a half of purified water every day.
On hot days or when you are exercising you might need twice that amount.
It is best to start the day with 2-3 glasses of water.
Reason: Your lymph system has been dumping toxins into your blood system all night and you need to get rid of that.
Another good outcome: When your body gets accustomed to having all this good water, you’ll begin to feel thirsty when you’re not getting enough.
And, you’ll be healthier.
Stay hydrated my friend.
I drink to your good health! Water of course!
